Religious Arguments | by Martin Jarvis

In Brian’s words:

Our lives are a blend of blessings (positive experiences), and wounds (which are often indirect blessings)

The positive experiences are not really the deceiving culprit in the image (or masks) we project. But the wounds…. We are wounded little boys and girls, covered (shielded) by callouses… Masks.

This is where the church has been failing. We look okay (and by societal standards, we are okay)… but we are not okay. Jesus referred to this condition as “painted graves”.
